Using self-hypnosis to reduce pain or fears in childbirth has become increasingly popular.
It has been shown that the use of hypnosis for childbirth can
- Shorten labour
- Reduce pain
- Reduce the need for intervention
It has also been found that babies born to mothers who have used hypnosis to relax and calm themselves will sleep and feed better.
It is usually just one session where you will be given a recording to practice using self-hypnosis. When the big day comes, you will be able to relax and use your self-hypnosis trigger to help you to give birth to your baby.
When is the optimum time for a pregnant mother to receive this therapy?
- After 6 months, then you can practice using the recording before the event.
If you would like to find out more, please contact me, or you could download the recording.
